One-stop-shop for services will benefit many

To the Editor:

The purpose of this letter is to highlight the groundbreaking event that was held on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at the Miami County Fairgrounds.

The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services, of which I am a member, has embarked on a mission to make access to needed services more “user-friendly.” To that end, the concept of a “one-stop-shop” emerged, and due to a lot of planning and hard work, the next phase of making this idea a reality has begun. This next phase involves building a facility where those who are in need of services can receive them in one place. Not only is this great for the consumer, but for providers and the community at large.

As a community member and a board member, I want to say “thank you” to all those who have supported and continue to support this venture.

Thank you for valuing the work of the Tri-County Board and others who strive to ensure the health and well-being of all citizens.
