Locals named to UD dean’s list

DAYTON — The following University of Dayton undergraduates from your area made the dean’s list for the fall 2016 semester, which honors undergraduate students achieving a minimum 3.5 GPA for the semester. Local students include:

Miami University announces dean’s list

OXFORD, Ohio — Miami University students who achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average for first semester 2016-2017 have been named to the dean’s list recognizing academic performance.

UA students make fall dean’s list

AKRON, Ohio — Congratulations to more than 3,500 students who made the fall 2016 dean’s list. To be eligible the students needed to maintain a GPA of at least 3.5, and be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours.

Area students include:

Tara Snipes of Covington, majoring in Information Systems Management

Connor Estes of New Carlisle, majoring in Geology — Engineering Geology

Julian Brooks of Tipp City, majoring in Manufacturing Engineering Tech

Colleen Powers of Troy, majoring in Marketing Management Program.

Schroeder attends inaguration

OXFORD, Ohio — Lukas Schroeder is one of more than 30 Miami University students attending the inauguration of President Donald Trump in Washington, DC, today.

Students from all areas of study traveled to the nation’s capital for the historic day.

Schroeder, from Troy, is earning a Bachelor of Science majoring in Business.

Local student named to the dean’s list

ANDERSON, Ind. — Anderson University has announced its dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2016-2017 academic year. Local resident Bailey Dornbusch is among the students who are being recognized for their outstanding academic achievement. Dornbusch is a freshman at Anderson University. She is studying nursing.

Dornbusch is a 2016 graduate of Troy High School. She also participated on the women’s varsity soccer team at Anderson University this past fall semester.

Wilmington students named to dean’s list

WILMINGTON, Ohio — Several area residents have been named to the Wilmington College Dean’s List for the 2016 fall semester.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List honor, a student must be enrolled full-time and maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
