Chief recognized


Melody Vallieu/Troy Daily News On Thursday, the village council of Ludlow Falls recognized retiring fire chief Greg Bridenbaugh for his service to the Ludlow Falls Fire Department. Amid friends and family, village officials thanked Bridenbaugh for his 44 years of service with a plaque. Bridenbaugh joined the department in 1972 and served as chief from 1994 until retiring at the end of 2016. Bridenbaugh remains on the department in the capacity of an engineer. Those present to honor Bridenbaugh from the village included Pat Neisley, mayor; Robin Smith, clerk-treasurer; Elizabeth Williams, Tina Weber, Trudy Fugate, Tom Kelly, Joyce Keiser and Kelly Quillen.
