Motorcyclicsts injured in accident


A crash involving a motorcycle and a car resulted in injuries, and one patient being transported aboard CareFlight. The crash occurred at the intersection of South County Road 25-A and Michaels Road around 8 p.m.


TIPP CITY — A crash involving a motorcycle and a car Wednesday night resulted in injuries for two motorcycle riders.

Officers from the Tipp City Police Department responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle crash at South County Road 25-A and Michaels Road around 8 p.m.

The driver of the car, Mary Koenigs of Tipp City, was turning onto Michaels Road and failed to yield. She turned left in front of a southbound Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Kevin Cable of Englewood. Sherry Cable, 51, was the passenger on the motorcycle.

Cable, 52, was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Tipp City medics. He was treated and released. His wife was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight and she is listed in fair condition.

Koenig, 68, will be cited with failure to yield.
