According to city staff, gusty winds knocked D &L wires down across Tipp City power lines, dropping both across the roadway due to gusty winds. Tipp City utility workers had to wait for DP&L to repair their lines before starting on the city lines. The incident was reported at 7:25 a.m. and resolved by 10 a.m. Strong winds, widespread rain and thunderstorms were expected to continue.
