Gaining work experience

While at the reserve, participants of the Summer Youth Work Experience, including Courtney Kruger painted picnic tables and trash cans, cleaned windows and screens, then washed vehicles and equipment. Each person involved participated in two weeks of classroom work, including interview skills and two weeks in the community. The average age of those involved in the program are between 15 and 18 years old and have had no prior work experience.
