Getting a
Card
All Ohio residents
are eligible. Adults must present picture
identification and proof of current
address.
Children are eligible for
a card when they sign their full name. Minors must
be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will
accept responsibility for the selection, use, and
return of library materials.
Replacement fee for a card
is $1. Patrons should contact the library as soon
as possible if a card is stolen.
Loan
Periods
New adult
materials, books-on-tape, audiocassettes, books
with cassettes, CDs, encyclopedias, pamphlets, and
periodicals have a 14-day loan period.
Videocassettes may be borrowed for three days. All
other materials have a lone period of 28
days.
Borrowing
Materials
It is important
that all resources are shared in a reasonable
manner. Patrons may borrow materials as
follows:
- Three
books-on-tape
- Three
audiocassettes
- Three items per
subject area
- Unlimited
fiction
- Three circulating
encyclopedias
- Three videocassettes
per family
Other items may be limited
at the librarians' discretion. Reserved materials
may not be renewed. Reference materials do not
circulate.
Overdue or Lost
Library
Materials
Overdue charges
are five cents per day on all items except
videocassettes. Overdue video fines are $2 per
title per day. The maximum fine is the cost of the
material.
No material may be checked
out to patrons with fines of $2 or more, or whose
family has accrued fines of $7.50 or
more.
Also Patrons who have
materials overdue for more than one month will not
be permitted to take out additional
items.
Patrons are encouraged to
return all overdue materials even if fines can't be
paid. Arrangements may be made. Failure to return
library materials shall result in loss of
privileges.
