The Piqua Heritage
Festival takes place every year on Labor Day
Weekend at the Piqua Historical Area (Johnston
Farm). Weekend festivities include a mountain
man encampment, arts and crafts,
folk/traditional music, theater, old style
farming demonstrations, and activities for kids
and the whole family.
The grounds of the Johnston
Farm including the 1815 house and barns are open
for tours during the festival. The mule-drawn
canal boat, "General Harrison," gives rides on a
section of the Miami and Erie Canal through out
the weekend.
