MiamiCountyCLOSEUP

Miami County is made up of 12 townships. These townships represent the both the county's agricultural tradition as well as its cities, towns and villages. Although most of the townships are associated by a dominant city or town, Bethel Township is an entity of its own, with its own school district. Though Elizabeth and Lostcreek Townships are anchored by the towns of Casstown and Fletcher, they share some services, including the Miami East School District.

As the county has continued to grow in both population and business activity, the townships have played important roles in planning and managing expansion so Miami County can remain a place where new and longtime residents like to live and work.
