The Bradford School District is made up of
two buildings, the elementary (K-6) and the high
school (7-12). The school's nickname is the
Railroaders, thanks to the town's rail history.
There are also several other public school
options for students in Bradford. The Upper
Valley Joint Vocational School (JVS) is a
multi-county school where high school juniors and
seniors study and learn various skills from farming
and auto repair to computers and food
preparation.
Riverside
is a county-wide school for the developmentally
disabled of various ages. Its sister program, RT
Industries, provides job opportunities and training
for people with disabilities.
Private
schools have been expanding in the county
over the past 10 years. In addition to new
facilities, existing schools have added to the
number of grade levels they teach.
Edison
Community College is Miami County's only
college, and plays an important role for people
pursuing associate degrees and advanced skills.
There also is an impressive selection of four-year
colleges closely located in surrounding
counties. These institutions are listed at the
bottom of this page.
