Lolly, a Labrador Retriever mix, came in stray and needed special care because her front leg had nerve damage. She is on the road to recovery and will be available for adoption soon. Her front leg had to be amputated and she is doing very well adapting to her new lifestyle. She is being fostered until she is released by the vet to find her new home. She is very loving and cuddly. She is housebroken and is fine with other dogs that respect her personal space. She is also said to be good with older kids that also respect her personal space. She likes to go outside and play, but will escape the front door if given the chance, so confinement will be a priority for her new home. She hasn’t had any experience with cats that we are aware of, so we are not sure how she would do with kitties. The Miami County Animal Shelter is taking applications for her adoption, so when she gets the all clear from the vet, she can go to her new home.
