TROTWOOD — After a series of quality offensive performances, the Troy girls basketball team couldn’t find a way to put points up at Greater Western Ohio Conference North Division rival Trotwood Wednesday night as the Rams ended the Trojans’ three-game winning streak, 39-28.

Troy (5-7, 2-1 GWOC North) stayed within one point after the first quarter but trailer 18-12 at halftime. Trotwood (5-8, 2-0) used 16 total steals to keep the Trojans from getting a chance to come back, pulling ahead 27-16 after three quarters and holding on from there.

Troy travels to Butler Saturday.

The Devils (10-3, 4-1 CBC Kenton Trail), who won for the fifth time in their last six games, will travel to Kenton Ridge Saturday night for a critical division showdown.
