Three charged with safe cracking, burglary

By Melanie YingstStaff WriterTROY — The Miami County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the former Stouder Hospital building on Tuesday evening and arrested three individuals connected to a Troy burglary.Miami County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jheramy Andress, 29, of Piqua, Nakesiah Alcorn, 30 of Troy, and Stephanie Ray-Lagrant, 23, of Troy, at the former Stouder Hospital building Tuesday following an investigation of a Troy burglary on July 20.The trio stole a safe from a Troy home. The safe had several firearms inside. According to the investigation, the three traded the guns for heroin to a drug dealer in Dayton. Officials recovered the safe in a Dumpster at the facility.
