County Republicans endorse Beagle

To the Editor:

The Miami County Republican Executive Committee met on March 1, 2016, to endorse in the 8th Congressional race for Congress.

The 8th district congressional race is a crowded field with a variety of candidate options. In a completely open forum for all of the candidates, the Committee overwhelmingly endorsed conservative republican Bill Beagle of Tipp City with 75 percent of the votes on the first ballot.

We will work to make sure Bill Beagle is our next Congressman.

The Miami County Republican Party listened to all the candidates on hand and gave our Senator, Bill Beagle an impressive victory tonight. Bill Beagle’s stellar conservative record and leadership in Ohio’s State Senate shined through tonight and won the evening in impressive fashion.

Bill Beagle has proven time and time again his devotion to our conservative values and we are eager for him to continue that fight in the United States House of Representatives.

With millions of dollars pouring in from Washington, D.C. special interests in this race supporting others in this election, Bill Beagle stands alone by raising his money locally and not being beholden to any D.C. special interests. We need this type of leadership in Washington, D.C.

— John W. “Bud” O’Brien, Chairman
