To the Editor:
Among a number of things Donald Trump seems to be politically challenged by, I have noticed one other — spelling. It is probably too late to change them, but his campaign signs read “Let’s make America great again.”
I believe, though, he has confused the homonyms “great” and “grate.”
With his divisive rhetoric and policy statements causing so much friction, annoyance, and irritation throughout the nation, he surely must have meant to use the homonym “grate.”
While not likely, changing the signs to read “Let’s make America grate again” would finally be telling it like it is.
