Couple to celebrate 60 years

PLEASANT HILL — Marion “Pete” and Nancy (Trost) Cromes of Pleasant Hill will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on May 19. They were united in marriage at the Nashville Congregational Church in West Milton.

Pete graduated from Piqua High School in 1953, and retired from Hobart Corp (PMI).

Nancy graduated from Newton High School in 1955, and retired from Dettmer Hospital and Sunrise Center for Adults.

They are the parents of Doug and Robin Cromes of Newnam, Ga., Mike and Caroline Cromes of Huntsville, Ohio, and Karen and Joe Donohue of Piqua; an “adopted” daughter, Brenda (Jody) Mattevi of Kenton; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to help the couple celebrate at an informal gathering from 3-5 p.m. May 21 at Lange Estate, 3505 Calumet Road, Ludlow Falls. The couple ask that gifts be omitted, and pictures and other memories are welcomed.
