Strawberry pancake breakfast set
TROY — A Strawberry Pancake Breakfast will be held by the Troy United Methodist Women from 7-11 a.m. Saturday, June 4.
Delicious pancakes, sausage, and fresh strawberries will be served at the First Place Christian Center, 16 W. Franklin St., Troy.
A free will offering is suggested with the proceeds used to fund local missions.

Biker Sunday set at Troy Church of the Nazarene
TROY — The public is invited to Troy Church of the Nazarene’s 17th annual Biker Sunday, set for Sunday, June 5, which begins with a special worship service at 10 a.m.
Hank Chafin of the First Heavy Metal Church of Christ will be the guest speaker, and music will be provided by the 5:14 Band. The worship service will include a Biker Blessing. There will be a luncheon at 11:30 a.m., followed at 1 p.m. by the Barber Boys Memorial Ride, a scenic tour of Southwest Ohio.

First Lutheran to host events
TROY — First Lutheran Church is now on its summer worship schedule. Service will be at 9:30 a.m. JAM (Jesus and Me) Kids will be teaching the little ones the story of, “Jesus Sends Out the Twelve,” during the 9:30 a.m. service in the church lobby.
Guest Dan Reke will share his message, “A Heart for Jesus.”

Cave Quest VBS at Ginghamsburg Church
TIPP CITY — Ginghamsburg Church will open its doors to children in the community, age 3 and potty trained through fifth grade, for a free family event held June 13-16.
During Cave Quest Vacation Bible School, kids will spend each evening spelunking through field-tested activity stations with their Cave Crews. Every station is designed to reinforce the daily Bible point in a hands-on, interactive way that keeps everyone engaged.

PLEASANT HIL — Plan to send your children to Lifeway’s ’Journey Off the Map’ Vacation Bible School at Pleasant Hill First Brethren Church. Here they will learn God’s Truths, June 13-17, from 9 a.m. to noon each day.
The week will be filled with Bible-learning experiences, games, songs, a snack, as well as other exciting activities.
The program is for those age three (potty-trained) through eighth grade.

Church to host drama camp
TROY — The First United Methodist Church will once again hold a Drama Camp the week of June 13-17.
The camp will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at First Place Christian Center, 16 W. Franklin St., Troy.
The presentation will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, June 17, in the Church Sanctuary.
Come discover new drama games, new stories, new songs and new friends. The camp is for anyone who has completed grades K-6. Registration forms are available at the church or may be downloaded on the church website, www.troyfumc.org.

Church to host 5K
TROY — On Saturday June 18, Grace Family Worship Center will host the Make Every Mile Matter 5K run, walk or ride. This event is in memory of Pastor Howard Collier, the founding father, pastor, and friend who touched countless lives during his 43 years of ministry.
The race begins at 9 a.m., with check-in and registration beginning at 8:15. The cost to register is $20. The first 50 registered will receive a free T-shirt.
