TROY — A Potsdam man is jailed, charged with numerous counts of sexual misconduct relating to a minor.
Christopher Hoskins, 30, has been charged with one count of rape, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, three counts of compelling prostitution and a few probation violations.
Hoskins is alleged to have been prostituting his then 13-year-old victim — whose relationship to him is not certain at this time — since later 2013, according to the Troy Police Department.
According to reports, the victim alleges that Hoskins was taking her to hotels, including the Motel 6 in Troy, to have sex with other males and he was receiving payment for the acts. She also alleges that Hoskins forced her to have a sexual relationship with him as well, reports state.
Hoskins was arrested on July 25 and remains jailed on a $420,000 bond.
Hoskins has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
