Five Troy restaurants cited for underage service

TROY — The Troy Police Department and Ohio Investigative Unit conducted compliance checks at Troy Permit holders that serve beer or alcoholic beverages for onsite consumption. Twelve establishments were checked with seven found to be in compliance. The five establishments found not to be in compliance were cited by the Ohio Investigative Unit. The person serving the beer or alcoholic beverages were summoned by the Troy Police Department.

The following establishments were cited for serving underage persons on May 27: The Tavern and an employee were found to be in violation during a compliance check; Railroad Restaurant was found to be in violation during a compliance check; The Caroline was found to be in violation during a compliance check; Dunaway’s was found to be in violation during a compliance check; and Basil’s was found to be in violation during a compliance check.
