Night of Discovery planned

TROY — This summer, get a close up look at some of Ohio’s amazing nocturnal creatures from 7-10 p.m. July 24 at Brukner Nature Center.

Participants will learn about bats and the bugs they love to munch on and even try their hand at using echolocation. The fireflies that light up the night will give participants a great show as we hike around and learn how to tell these fascinating flashing insects apart.

Bring your kindergarten through fifth graders and have a free night to yourselves while we keep the kids busy discovering what creatures fly around at night.

The fee for this Night of Discovery is $10 for BNC members and $15 for non-members.

Registration and payment are due by 5 p.m. July 20.
