Vacation camp offered

TROY — When the air turns frigid and the frost settles on the windows, children fill with anticipation of winter vacation.

Sign your child up for a half day, 9 a.m. to noon, or a whole day, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., of exploration and fill their new found free time with fun and learning at Brukner Nature Center on Dec. 21.

During this winter vacation we will investigate the world of native Ohio wildlife and how they move. Whether it’s the long sturdy legs of a white tailed deer used for running and jumping, or the pectoral and tail fins of a fish used for gliding through the water, all creatures have developed fascinating methods for moving and being successful within their niche! Join us for a day filled with amazing fun facts about Ohio’s native creatures. The fee for half day is $10 for members and $15 for non-members or full day is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. This camp is for grades K-fifth grade students. Payment is due at time of registration (cash or check).

Final deadline for registration is Friday, Dec. 18.
