PIQUA — The Relay for Life of Miami County is hosting a Fight Back Festival on Aug. 16 to raise awareness for next year’s Relay for Life.
The festival will have something the entire family will enjoy.
The event will consist of a direct sales/craft vender show featuring 20 local craft artisans, independent sales consultants from various companies and Relay For Life teams. There will also be face painting, kid’s games, door prizes, food and drink sales, silent auction, Old Fashioned Cake Walk, music from Musicman DJ, dog washing sponsored by Bark For Life team Paws For A Cause and more.
“We wanted to have a fun fundraiser that allowed us to not only raise money for the Relay For Life of Miami County, but also help local direct sales and craft venders promote their own business ventures,” said Nicole Bolin, Relay For Life of Miami County event chair.
The Fight Back Festival will be held at the Mote Park Community Building located at 635 Gordon St. from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
“We have had great support from these local direct sales and craft venders. We hope people can come out and enjoy and fun day,” Bolin said. “We cannot thank the community enough for the support the Relay For Life of Miami County receives.”
