TIPP CITY — The Take-a-Seat auction, sponsored by the Tipp City Area Arts Council, will take place from 6:30-10 p.m. Aug. 23 at Cedar Springs Pavilion.
Admission is $50 per person, which must be paid in advance through Tipp Monroe Community Services by Aug. 8.
Food stations will be provided in the cost of the ticket with the menu consisting of mini savory shells, fully loaded potato skins, Jack Daniels herb and garlic steak tips on skewers, smoked salmon tartar on cucumber rounds, fresh tomato and basil bruschetta, spinach and artichoke bites, vegetable pizza bites, fresh fruit kabobs, ham salad sandwiches, chicken salad wraps, roast beef and turkey sandwiches, cherry crisp and lemon bars, and blackberry, butterscotch and pecan tarts.
There will also be a cash bar available.
Attire is dressy casual. Door prizes and live entertainment will be provided along with the live and silent auction. More than 60 chairs donated from local artists and community members will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefitting Tipp Monroe Community Services and Tipp City Area Arts Council.
Chairs are currently located in various businesses and offices in downtown and uptown Tipp City. Stop in at any Take-a-Seat chair sponsor to pick up a map of chair locations to take the tour before Aug. 10.
