Airmen graduate basic training
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The following airmen graduated recently from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio:
• U.S. Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Campbell Lawton
• U.S. Air Force Airman Alexander P. Caylor
The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Lawton is the son of Lia R. Hayslip of Glendale, Ariz., and Joshua A. Lawton of Chandler, Ariz., and grandson of Gay Ingram of Chandler, Ariz., and Robert Lawton of Morrisville, Vt.
He is a 2014 graduate of Graham High School, St. Paris.
Caylor is the son of Tracy and Patrick Caylor of Riverside, Ohio, and grandson of Brenda and Fred Copeland of West Milton, Ohio, and Judy Copeland of Dayton, Ohio. He is also the brother of Nicholas Copeland.
He graduated in 2012 from Stebbins High School, Riverside, Ohio.
