TROY — On Friday morning, the Troy Police Department conducted a search warrant at 219 E. Canal Street which resulted in the arrest of two adults and more than an ounce of cocaine.

William A. White, 43, of Troy, has been charged manufacturing illegal drugs and possession of cocaine. Both charges are first-degree felonies. The manufacturing charge was due to the proximity of White home to a nearby school. His girlfriend Farah Holter, 39, of Troy, was charged with two counts of first-degree felony trafficking cocaine.

According to Captain Jeff Kunkleman, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration assisted the detective division with the search warrant and its service Friday morning. The cocaine was being manufactured into crack, according to Capt. Kunkleman.

More charges may be pending, he said.
