Information provided by the Miami County Sheriff’s Office:

March 30

DRUG POSSESSION: A deputy stopped the involved vehicle for lane violations at State Route 40 and State Route 201, Tipp City. The driver, Robert Isaacs, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and heroin and issued a citation for lanes of travel.

April 1

FRAUD: The reporting party called to report a fraudulent purchase billed to Miami Valley Marine Repair, Tipp City Ohio. An unknown subject ordered several boat propellers online and use a stolen credit card to pay. The reporting party shipped the items via DHL to London, England.

There were two shipments and one was stopped in customs in London. DHL and London police will attempt to track the suspect that signed for the first shipment.

Miami Valley Marine is out the cost of shipping and for the delivered package. They requested a report for their credit card processing company and for DHL.

STOLEN VEHICLE: A deputy responded to the 4191 State Route 40, Bethel Township, in reference to a stolen vehicle.

OVI: A deputy responded to the area of N. State Route 202 in reference to a reckless operation complaint. The vehicle was located, and upon further investigation, a male was arrested for OVI and incarcerated at the Miami County Jail.

GUN GONE: A deputy received a dispatch for a theft of a firearm occurring at 8730 Bellefontaine Road in Bethel Township, Miami County, Ohio.

ACTIVE WARRANT: A deputy responded to 11273 W. State Route 36, Newberry Twp. to trespass a male from a residence in Darke County. The male, Russell Sparks, was trespassed per Darke County’s request. Russell was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. Russell was taken into custody and transported to the Miami County / Champaign County line and released to a Champaign County Deputy.

April 2

ARRESTS MADE: Officers were dispatched to Vine Street, Bradford, in reference, to a loud complaint/party. A second caller had witnessed a male waiving a handgun around just before arrival. The caller stated the male had left the area walking east on foot. The caller could not give a description of the male.

The officers spoke with a female who lived at the residence that hosted the party. She stated she heard a black male yell several times while he was at the party that he had two guns.

Officers located the vehicle pulling into a residential drive on Buckneck Road. Julio F. Almonte Jr was issued a citation for underage consumption and Sgt. Slusher arrested Eric Clay for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. There were no guns located.

April 3

OVI: Deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of Palmer Road, Bethel Township, in reference, to an accident. The driver was arrested for OVI, open container, and issued a citation for reasonable control.
