TROY — On Saturday, Troy Police Department responded to a disturbance call in the 1700 block of Paradise Trail which was first reported that one person had been shot, but was later unfounded.
The initial call to police was made shortly after midnight of a report that two males were involved in an altercation involving a weapon. Police did not find a gunshot victim, nor a weapon and one of the two people involved in the altercation had fled from the scene.
One arrest was made following the initial report. Jesse Woods, 36, of Troy, was charged with first degree misdemeanor assault, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and a probation violation. He is currently incarcerated at the Miami County Jail.
According to Sgt. Richard Gumerlock, the case is still under investigation.
