Girl Scout day camp offered

TROY — Girl Scouts Spring Break Day Camp will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, and Friday, April 1, at the Troy Rec, 11 N. Market S., Troy.

The cost of the program is $15, which covers the Girl Scout membership fee. Specifically designed for girls in grades kindergarten through fifth grade who have not yet had the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts, Spring Break Day Camp introduces participants to all of the fun things that make Girl Scouts memorable — friendship, adventure, and fun.

Come discover the beauty that’s inside you and your potential to make the world a better place, through storytelling and creative expression. Tell a story using sock puppets you design. Explore other cultures while you ‘“travel” around the world.

And have fun with new friends singing songs, making crafts and playing games.
