Library plans holiday evening

WEST MILTON — Silver bells, silver bells, it’s Christmas time, in the library … which means it’s time for Milton-Union Public Library’s annual “Community Holiday Night!” The family friendly evening will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10.

There will be plenty of holiday cheer to go around with door prizes, live music, refreshments, and of course Santa. Enjoy carols played by musician and library clerk, Chere Hile. Hile has sung and played the piano since she was in preschool. She travelled for more than six years with Encounter Revival Ministries, a professional singing team, and then worked as a professional musician and worship leader for more than 15 years.

A special snowflake tree craft will be available for the kids, with all supplies provided. Cookies, coffee and other goodies will be offered by the New Friends.

The photo booth is back by popular demand. Bring your cell phones and cameras and the library will bring the props. Let out your inner silly and preserve a memory.

The guests of honor for the entire evening will be Santa and Mrs. Claus. They will have a smile and surprise for each child.

Come join the Claus’s and the library in celebrating another successful year and a happy holiday season. For more information, call (937) 698-5515 or visit
