MIAMI COUNTY — The Miami County Commissioners approved several improvement projects for county buildings at their meeting Tuesday.
The commissioners approved carpet replacement for several buildings, including the West Central Juvenile Detention Center, the Juvenile Court administrative and clerks offices, and the county’s Public Health offices.
Altogether, the projects totaled $66,053.
About $27,400 in roof repairs were also approved for the Sanitary Engineering building.
The commissioners also approved a fencing project at the Harrison Street radio garage at a cost not to exceed $7,277.
The commissioners also accepted a grant on behalf of the Transit Department in the amount of about $38,000.
