Nov. 26

THEFT: A resident in the 7000 block of Piqua-Clayton Road, Covington, called in to report that someone had broken into their barn and vehicle and had taken approximately $1400.

OVI: The driver of a rollover crash was suspected of OVI in the 7400 block of Bradford Bloomer Road, Newberry Twp.. She was cited and released at the conclusion of the investigation.

JAIL ASSAULT: A deputy was dispatched to the downtown jail in reference to an assault. The deputy met with CO Shaun Arnett who stated inmates Billy Scarberry and Mario Segura had been in an altercation while playing cards. CO Arnett stated neither subjects wanted to pursue charges.

Nov. 27

OVI: A deputy initiated a traffic stop on the listed vehicle on Adams Street and West Main Street, Troy. At the

conclusion of the investigation, the driver was incarcerated for felony drug possession, drug paraphernalia, and marked lanes.

Nov. 28

OVI: A deputy stopped the listed vehicle for a moving violation on the northbound I-75 ramp in Troy. The deputy made

contact with the driver who was identified as the defendant Angel L Linton. After further investigation, Ms. Linton was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody for OVI.

Nov. 30

SUSPICIOUS: A deputy observed the listed vehicle parked in the shadows of the back parking lot on Ginghamsburg

Church and could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver and passenger and advised them of the suspicious nature of them being parked back in the shadows.

The deputy also advised them that he could smell marijuana coming from their vehicle. The deputy located an empty plastic baggie with seeds and stems in it and also a pack of rolling papers. The deputy did not locate any marijuana in the vehicle. The pair were released with no charges.

JUVENILE WARRANT: A resident called and advised she believed a wanted juvenile was on his way to her residence in the 200 block of West Main Street, Fletcher. She advised she did not want any trouble for him being there if he was wanted. I sat in the area until the juvenile arrived. He arrived in the listed vehicle and was taken into custody without incident. He was incarcerated in the Miami County Juvenile Detention Center on a warrant.
