TIPP CITY (WDTN) – The motorcyclist killed after colliding with a car Wednesday has been identified.
He was identified as Christopher Dye, 49, from Vandalia.
The crash was reported around 6 p.m. in the 4000 block of Ross Road near Tipp City, close to the Miami and Montgomery county line.
Miami County sheriff’s deputies say the man was traveling westbound on Ross Road when he lost control of his motorcycle, crashing it. His body continued traveling into the eastbound lane.
The man’s body hit an SUV on Ross Road, killing him.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
