Roeth wins market lamb awards at state fair

COLUMBUS — Livestock competitors from across the state of Ohio showcased their prize winning animals at this year’s 2016 Ohio State Fair.

Jacob Roeth of Troy brought home multiple awards after showing his market lambs and boer goats during the livestock competitions. Jacob won first in class for his junior All Other Breeds (AOB) Market Lamb, then went on to win Reserve Grand Champion in the Open Market Lamb AOB division.

He is a member of the Elizabeth Livestock 4-H chapter for Miami County.

Roeth is the son of Justin and Brandi Roeth who operate their own goat farm, J&J Boer Goats.
