PIQUA — Upper Valley Career Center Adult Division will be offering a variety of computer workshops involving hands-on, instructor-led training from beginner through advanced.

Designed to provide participants with a lot of material in a short time, the workshops taught by Deborah Adkins will help individuals brush up on existing skills and master new ones.

“The instructor-led workshops combine helpful visual aids, hands-on exercises, take-home reference materials, and time to discuss how concepts learned can be applied in real-world scenarios,” Adkins explained.

Class offerings include Microsoft Access® 2013, Level 1; Microsoft Excel® 2013, Levels 1-3; Microsoft Word® 2013, Levels 1-3; Microsoft PowerPoint® 2013; and Microsoft Outlook®.

The workshops will run on various dates and times throughout the months of August, September, October, November and December. All classes will be held at the Adult Technology Center in Piqua.
