Information provided by the Troy Police Department:
THEFT: An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft. Paige Baskerville was charged with Theft.
THEFT AND POSSESSION: An officer responded to Kohls on a report of a theft in progress. Upon arrival Kohls Loss
Prevention had Catherine Sutherly, 32, of Troy, in custody for shoplifting. She was charged with theft, possession of criminal tools, and possession of drugs.
DISTURBANCE: Two adults were charged with disorderly conduct for their actions while at Buffalo Wild Wings.
OVI: An officer observed a vehicle which failed to stop for a red light at the intersection with Adams Street. Upon stopping the vehicle the driver was arrested for OVI.
WARRANT: Officers came into contact with Daniel Drazer in the southeast quadrant of the public square. Drazer was arrested on a warrant and was charged with open container in a motor vehicle, drug possession, and drug paraphernalia.
DISTURBANCE: Dispatch advised that a black female was yelling at other subjects in the parking lot and speaking about the devil and God. Dispatch also advised that she was parked in the fire lane in a gold car with California plates.
Officers arrived on scene and identified Vanessa D Carter, was standing on the drivers side of a gold Nissan Maxima. After speaking with Carter and her passenger, it was determined that they were homeless and just traveling and living out of her car.
The vehicle’s registration expired in 2015. The vehicle also had a cracked windshield. Carter was issued a citation for both offenses and given a court date. Carter was released from the scene and drove off without issue. She was also issued a parking ticket for parking in the fire lane.
POSSESSION: An officer initiated a traffic stop on a Black Jeep Grand Cherokee for a traffic offense. Marijuana and Marijuana Paraphernalia were located in the vehicle, driver was cited and released.
OPEN CONTAINER: An officer issued Kimberly Hancock, 49, of Troy, a summons for Open Container in a Motor Vehicle.
BICYCLES STOLEN: Two bikes were stolen from the front porch of a home in the 600 block of S. Clay Street.
WALKER GONE: A walker was stolen from the front porch of a residence in the 200 block of S. Union Street.
FORGERY: A forgery complaint was filed at Subway on 15 S. Dorset Road.
THEFT: Officers were dispatched to Walgreens in reference to a theft complaint. A male was located after leaving the store. Isaiah Williams also admitted to stealing headphones from Walgreen’s on July 16. He was charged with theft for both of the offenses
POSSESSION: An officer responded to the area of S. Clay Street at E. West Street in reference to a disorderly complaint. The suspect was reportedly drinking a beer and threw the bottle into someone’s yard.
The male was identified as Ryan Hagan. The officer inquired about the beer can and he stated he did not throw any can in anyone’s yard. The officer then asked for consent to search his backpack and person. Ryan granted consent. During the search an officer located a sealed can of Miller Lite beer and a baggy of a leafy green substance which was recognized to be marijuana. Both items were located in the pockets of his shorts.
The officer told Ryan to return to the can he threw, even though he denied it. He did so and retrieved the can. The officer issued Ryan a summons for possession of marijuana and released him.
BURGLARY: An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Maplecrest Drive for a report of a burglary.
UNDERAGE: An officer was dispatched to McDonalds on W. Main Street on a possible disorderly male. A male subject appeared to be under the influence of alcoholic beverage. He was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol, disorderly conduct, and possession of marijuana. Male was booked in to the county jail.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Officers were dispatched to a disorderly conduct complaint at 116 W. Main. Dispatch advised that a male subject was intoxicated, had been kicked out of the bar, was trying to fight everyone, and was being restrained. Subject incarcerated for disorderly conduct
MOWER RECOVERED: Dispatch had advised a male subject had taken a mower from 102 S. Oxford. Male subject was located at Adams and W. Main St. Mower was recovered. Several attempts to contact the owner were made, with no contact being made.
