Couple wed in Troy ceremony

The Timpes

Kathryn Sue Timpe, formerly of Troy, now of Farmington, Conn., wed Michael Scott Timpe of Farmington, Conn., during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, Troy, with the Rev. David Leckrone officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Eileen Heffner of Troy. The groom is the son of Scott and Lynne Timpe of Swanton.

Maid of honor was Mindy Heffner, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Anya Weaver, Alison Hickman, Brandi Dominique, and Jessica Timpe, sister of the groom.

A reception was held at The Willow Tree in Tipp City.

The best man was Brandon Kindell. Groomsmen were Jordan Sweitzer, Kevin Hickman, Eric Camp and Nathan Timpe, brother of the groom.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, Dave Heffner, wore an ivory Pronovias Designer lace chapel length gown with her mother’s lace edged illusion chapel length veil. She carried a fall bouquet of roses, Queen Anne’s lace, berries, button mums, and dusty miller.

Tawnie Johnson was the organist for the ceremony.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Troy High School, Troy. She is a 2012 graduate of Bluffton University, Bluffton, with a degree in sports management and business administration.

The bride is employed as a customer service associate at Kohl’s Department Store, Plainville, Conn.

The groom is a graduate of of Swanton High School in Swanton. He is a 2011 graduate of Bluffton University, Bluffton, with a degree in information systems. He is a QA analyst at ESPN in Bristol, Conn.

The couple honeymooned at Walt Disney World in Florida.
