• NEST BOX WORKSHOP: Gather the family and join staff from 2-4 p.m. for a hands-on workshop learning about cavity nesting birds at Brukner Nature Center. Learn how to be good stewards of your own bird houses and nest boxes with BNC’s Rachel Mattes. Discover many of Ohio’s cavity nesting species like the Eastern Bluebird, and how cool their nests can be. Participants will also practice monitoring nest boxes on the property (prepare for the weather), and build their own nest boxes to take home. • EQUINOX PRESENTATION: Join Brukner Nature Center staff at 7 p.m. for a Spring Equinox presentation. Enjoy a glass of organic wine or bird-friendly decaf accompanied by light hors d’oeuvres and local sweets while you enjoy an exhibit of the art of John Ruthven, naturalist, author, lecturer and internationally acknowledged master of wildlife art.
