Robinson Investments buys former Systemax warehouse in Fletcher

FLETCHER – Robinson Investments LTD., owner of Robinson Warehouse, Wright Distribution Centers Inc., Logan Express LLC, and Robinson Building Solutions, has purchased the 297,940 square-foot facility located at 6990 U.S. Route 36 East in Fletcher, previously Systemax Mfg.

They have filled 80,000 square feet and are ready to fill an additional 120,000 square feet.

Robinson Investments began in 1998 and has various facilities located in Columbus, Marysville, Lima, and Van Wert. The Fletcher facility will be their most southern location and approximately one hour from their corporate headquarters in Bellefontaine.

Robinson Warehouse provides the facilities and labor to supply a wide variety of logistic functions such as purchasing and procurement, packaging, transportation, warehousing, and reverse logistics.

This facility was the former home of Systemax Mfg., which had previously acquired Midwest Micro and Infotel in this location in 1997. Systemax was founded in 1949 as Global Equipment Company and has grown into a fortune 1000 company and has acquired companies such as Tiger Direct, Comp USA, and Circuit City along the way. They are headquartered in Port Washington, N.Y., and are the leading retailer for brand name and private label electronic products and serve any one from the individual consumer to small business, large corporations, government organizations, and value added resellers.
