PIQUA — A famed female race car driver and cable television race show co-host will be featured at the Miami Valley Centre Mall’s upcoming Race Cars and Future Stars Expo.

Co-host of the nationally-televised show, “Performance TV,” which airs on the Velocity Channel, Kathy Fisher will be on hand during the mall car expo show, which is scheduled for March 28-30. Fisher is also a NHRA/IHRA race car driver,

Fisher will be on hand in the Aesthetic Finishers display during the 11th Annual Race Cars and Future Stars Expo.

“After this very long and cold winter, it will be great to get out and start thinking about warmer weather activities,” Fisher said.

“Of course for me that is automotive and racing related. It will be fantastic to get rid of some of this cabin fever and we are certainly looking forward to being a part of the Race Cars and Future Stars Expo.”

At the car show Fisher will have her K&N Filters/Borla Exhaust/Armor Coat dragster and she, along with her husband and teammate, Kevin Fisher, will also have his Armor Coat/Ohio Crankshaft Top Dragster on display throughout the event.

The racing couple will also be signing autographs at the car show.

“Last year was my first year participating in the Race Cars and Future Stars Expo,” she said. “I was blown away by the event attendance and had an amazing time visiting with so many folks of all ages. I hoped that my schedule would align to be able to participate again this year and I can’t stress how much I am anticipating being there again.”

In addition to her weekly co-hosting duties with fellow drag racer turned co-host, Tommy Johnson Jr., viewers can also find Fisher resuming her spot as one of the hosts on the “Lokar Car Show Series,” which returns to the Velocity Channel this fall.

The fourth season of her popular online drag racing reality series, “Married with Dragsters,” that she hosts with her husband will begin production this spring.

When it comes to Fisher’s activities on the race track, the multi-time champion will embark on her 2014 NHRA/IHRA drag racing national and divisional schedule in the coming weeks alongside her husband as a part of their two-car team with Performance by Fisher Racing.
