TIPP CITY — Tippecanoe wrestling swept a super-tri Thursday night, defeating Brookville on criteria after a 33-33 tie — winning the dual on the grounds of winning more matches — and then beating Greenville a little more conventionally, 39-22.

Gabe Callicoat (152) scored a 19-4 tech. fall win against Greenville, Jack Peura (160) won via 20-11 major decision and Austin Robbins (170) won via pinfall.

Against Brookville, Callicoat and Robbins scored pins, Peura won via 10-6 decision, Grant Carlson (220) won with a pin, Logan Ferrell (285) won by 8-3 decision and Mitchell Poynter (132) won by 6-1 decision.

Tippecanoe hosts its holiday invitational tournament on Dec. 28.
