TROY - Kendle M. Fultz, 76, of Troy, a former resident of Bethel Township, Miami County, died suddenly Thursday, May 28, 2009, at his residence.

He was born May 13, 1933, in South Webster, to George and Piney (Sharp) Fultz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Eloise Godsey and Marie Tyson; and brother, David L. Fultz.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Madeline (Williams) Fultz; son, Kenneth and his wife Sharon Fultz of Tipp City; daughter, Dianna and her husband Rick Gilbert of Tipp City; brothers, Harold L Fultz of Centerburg and Albert Fenton of Portsmouth; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Erin and Brandon Gilbert.

Kendle was a retired pipeline operator with Sohio/BP in Dayton. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Kendle was a loving husband and dad, and was a very active grandpa in all the grandchildren and family activities. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
